Who we are
Our website address is: https://www.darkysmechanical.com.au
Enquiries and applications
When you submit an enquiry or employment application through this site we collect the details you provide — your name, phone number, email address, vehicle details, the service you are enquiring about, any message you write, and any resume you attach.
We use those details only to respond to your enquiry or assess your application. We do not sell them.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
This site sets only what it needs to work. If analytics is enabled, Google Analytics sets cookies to measure traffic. You can block cookies in your browser without losing access to the site.
Embedded content from other websites
Pages on this site may include embedded content (for example a Google map). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. Those websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content.
How long we retain your data
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to service the job and for our ordinary business records. Employment applications are kept while the application is live and for a reasonable period afterwards.
What rights you have over your data
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and you can ask us to erase it. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.
Where your data is sent
Enquiry and application submissions are relayed to our business platform and delivered to office@darkysmechanical.com. They may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
